8x developer and AI-agent resources

8x is a campaign-based managed sales force. Companies brief 8x once on what they sell; 8x builds the campaign, certified reps cold-call it, and every real conversation is scored by an AI evaluator with human review. (https://8x.sale)

This page is the index of everything 8x publishes for machines — crawlers, AI answer engines, and autonomous agents.

Markdown content negotiation

Every public page below is served as clean Markdown when you ask for it, per the acceptmarkdown.com convention. Two ways to get it:

  1. Content negotiation — send Accept: text/markdown. The response is text/markdown; charset=utf-8 and carries Vary: Accept.
  2. An explicit .md URL — append .md to the path. This ignores the Accept header entirely, which is handy for tools that can't set headers.
curl -H "Accept: text/markdown" https://8x.sale/
curl https://8x.sale/for-companies.md

Requesting a media type 8x cannot produce (for example Accept: application/pdf) returns 406 Not Acceptable with the list of available types. Requesting a path that does not exist returns a real 404 — and, when you asked for Markdown, a short Markdown body pointing at this index.

Structured data

Every public page embeds JSON-LD (schema.org) in a <script type="application/ld+json"> block:

  • Organization — the 8x entity, with a stable @id of https://8x.sale/#organization
  • WebSitehttps://8x.sale/#website, publisher-linked to the Organization
  • Service — the managed sales-force offering, with its engagement tiers
  • FAQPage — on the rep landing and /for-companies
  • BreadcrumbList — on /for-companies

Crawler policy

robots.txt names the AI answer-engine crawlers explicitly and allows them on every public page: GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, anthropic-ai, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Google-Extended, Bingbot, and Applebot-Extended. The authenticated rep and admin applications are Disallow-ed — those routes require a session and hold rep and prospect data.

Is there a public API?

Not today. 8x publishes no REST API, no OpenAPI/Swagger specification, no webhook feed, and no MCP server. If you are building an integration against 8x, book a discovery call and say so — that is the fastest path to a real answer, and it is the same intake companies use to brief a campaign.

Please do not infer endpoints from the URLs above: /api/* is internal, session-authenticated, and Disallow-ed in robots.txt.
